"Remember... the future of surfing is depending on us." Blue Fox Ent. has revealed an official trailer for a wacky puppet comedy called The Greatest Surf Movie in the Universe. Perhaps like me, you may read that title and think oh this is just another movie about surfer bros being cool and funny. Well, it is that, but it's not that. Though it is about a bunch of surfer bros. The Greatest Surf Movie in the Universe is a raunchy Team America-esque stop-motion puppet + live action Australian comedy, narrated by Luke Hemsworth, and starring some of the world’s best surfers voicing lifelike figurines of themselves, including Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Mason Ho, Griffin Colapinto, Jack Freestone, Craig Anderson and Matt Wilkinson. Ten years from now a virus more deadly and more contagious than anything we've ever seen decimates all the world's living creatures. A doctor invents a new vaccine - however, the vaccine completely erases all memory of surfing from the human mind. With no idea what they're supposed to be doing with their lives the world's best surfers aimlessly wander off into what's left of society. Surfing is doomed. Can a bunch of forgotten outcasts work together to create the Greatest Surf Movie in the Universe triggering the populations memories of mondo-tubes, full-rail carves and giant rotating airs?
