"There is a facet to Iuli Gerbase’s PINK CLOUD that embodies a theatrical style. The plot focuses on the two main characters, stuck in one location, Giovana’s apartment. Even though their child is introduced, the tale never strays far from the emotional and psychological dynamics of the two central characters. Like a play, we are presented with a catalyst that drives the narrative, the pink cloud, that brings them together. There are a few simple rules to this cloud, and as such it is easily accepted at face value. What follows is a simmering, subtle and methodical character study that explores the numerous complex elements of the human condition."
