SCREEN DAILY: Brian Cox war veteran drama ‘Mending The Line’ joins Blue Fox AFM sales slate (exclusive)

"Blue Fox Entertainment will kick off international sales talks at AFM on the uplifting drama Mending The Line starring Succession’s Brian Cox alongside Sinqua Walls and Patricia Heaton.
Joshua Caldwell (Infamous) directed the drama about a young soldier (Walls) returned from Afghanistan who befriends a Vietnam War veteran (Cox) at the same medical facility who teaches him fly fishing as a way of dealing with physical and emotional trauma.
Stephen Camelio (The Push) wrote the screenplay and Perry Mattfeld (In The Dark, Shameless) and Wes Studi (The Last Of The Mohicans, Dances With Wolves) round out the key cast. Walls has appeared in this year’s Sundance winner Nanny and Heaton’s credits include Carol’s Second Act and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Mending The Line was made with the support of a Big Sky Film Grant from Montana Film Office. The production also partnered with US Marine Corps Entertainment Media Liaison Office and US Department of Defense."
